What owning a print means
Purchasing a print transfers ownership of a single, numbered, physical object. It does not transfer the copyright in the underlying drawing, nor any right to reproduce, publish, distribute, publicly display beyond personal premises, or create derivative works. All such rights are retained by the artist.
